The train is extremely important to us. We were used to taking the train for Montreal or Quebec, etc. We are punished since the train was taken away from us. How many people, young and old need treatments in specialized hospitals and have no choice but to take the bus! Other older people wanting to visit their children who live in the city just can't make it as often as before. The bus isn't as comfortable as the train for lots of people! Hope the governments, federal and provincial as well as VIA Rail wake up and see that there are people on the Gaspé who need the train!

Administrator response by: Barry Brake We certainly agree with you. The passenger train is a vital link for many people. That's why it's so important to keep pressure on the government to fix the line to Gaspé as soon as possible so VIA can restore service to Gaspé.
